CONTROLS MANAGEMENT
               FUNCTIONALITY                     

Assurance of proper working of controls is key for solid ERM.  The evaluation  can either be based on the design of the controls or the effectiveness of the control. A periodic test  protocol is required in order to assure the appropriate working of them. Malfunctioning controls will expose the enterprise back to its risk threats without controls. 

»	Controls test plan: The plan directs the frequency and  test objectives (e.g. sample size etc.). The test plan is positioned against time.
»	Test execution: Test results are stored in CERRIX at control level with reference to test executor. A complete test-file can be attached and complemented with meta-data. Test-results may warn managers about its operating quality and findings.
»	Auditors: The test functionality can also be used by internal/external auditors. The sharing of data within the GRC circle will lead to significant  efficiencies.
