ASSESSOR

Risk assessments can be performed individually or in group. For group assessments, the participants equally contribute to the overall risk scores. With the module Risk Assessor of CERRIX, the risk manager can prepare the risk assessments workshops. He can prepare a few statements/questionnaires and request the assessors to score them for impact and likelihood. Comments and relevant documents can be added optionally. This give the participants personal time to evaluate the pre-defined topics. The results of all assessors can be used for input in the group assessment. Significant deviations in scores will require extra attention. During the risk assessment meeting, the assessors can rate the risks/controls again, also those risks that have been added during the workshop. With laptops, the risk assessors can (re) assess the risk/control list and the results will return immediately.

This way of working is more efficient than the use of voting machines, since it supports the process all the way and is not limited to the workshop itself. The Risk Assessor is a full web application. Risk Assessors can execute the (pre) assessment from anyplace. The outcome of each individual assessment can be stored and used in a subsequent re-assessment. There is no doubt that this will improve the efficiency!
