Product Manager - Ruler

Location: The Hague / Hybrid

Hey there! We're CERRIX, a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up helping financial institutions manage their risk and compliance in a smarter, more collaborative way.

We recently acquired Ruler - a regulatory intelligence platform used by over 150 financial institutions and more than 1,000 compliance professionals in the Netherlands. Ruler monitors regulatory developments, structures them into institution-specific profiles, and helps compliance teams interpret and act on what's changing. Together with CERRIX's risk and control management capabilities, we're building a closed-loop system that connects regulatory monitoring all the way through to control implementation and evidence-based reporting.

Now we're looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of Ruler and lead its next chapter, one where AI transforms how compliance teams work with regulatory content. If you love building products that solve real problems, thrive with autonomy, and aren't afraid to wear many hats, keep reading.

🧭 What you'll be doing

• Own the Ruler product end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to delivery and adoption. You're the person who makes sure Ruler keeps getting better, faster, and smarter.
• Lead the AI transformation of Ruler's regulatory watch product. Our primary goal is to introduce deeply embedded AI capabilities, think automated relevance screening, draft impact assessments, intelligent summarization, and gap detection. You'll shape this vision and make it real.
• Manage the relationship with our external development partners who build and maintain the Ruler platform. You'll set priorities, ensure quality, and drive velocity - without having a dev team sitting next to you.
• Coordinate with Content Team, the specialized legal and compliance team that supplies Ruler's curated regulatory content. You'll bridge the worlds of content expertise and product development.
• Wear many hats. As we build out the Ruler organization within CERRIX, you'll touch support, customer success, sales enablement, and onboarding. You're comfortable operating across boundaries and figuring things out as you go.
• Work closely with the CERRIX product and engineering teams to deepen the integration between Ruler and CERRIX — turning two complementary products into one seamless platform experience.
• Be the voice of Ruler's customers internally: bring their feedback, pain points, and opportunities to the table and translate them into product decisions.

🧰 What we're looking for

• You have proven experience as a Product Manager in B2B SaaS: you know what it means to ship software, manage stakeholders, and drive outcomes in a commercial context.
• You have hands-on experience building AI-powered features or products. You don't need to write the code, but you understand how AI capabilities are designed, scoped, and shipped, and you have strong opinions on what makes AI genuinely useful versus gimmicky.
• You're comfortable managing external development partners: setting direction, reviewing work, and holding teams accountable without direct authority.
• You're a generalist at heart who's excited about taking end-to-end ownership, from product strategy to customer conversations to support escalations.
• Excellent communication skills in English. You can articulate a vision, write a clear spec, and have a difficult conversation with a customer, all in the same day.
• You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and like building structure where there is none.

🌟 Bonus points

• Experience in regulation, compliance, or the financial services industry. If you know what DORA, CRD VI, or the AI Act mean for a bank's compliance team, you'll hit the ground running.
• Dutch speaking skills. Our customers are primarily Dutch financial institutions, and being able to engage with them in their own language is a real advantage.
• Experience working with content-driven products, where editorial, legal, or domain-expert content is a core part of the product value.
• Familiarity with regulatory technology (RegTech) or GRC platforms.
