Finance & Operations controller

Hey there! We're CERRIX, a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up helping financial institutions manage their risk and compliance in a smarter, more collaborative way. Our platform is used by over 150 financial institutions and more than 1,000 compliance professionals in the Netherlands. CERRIX's risk and control management software builds a closed-loop system that connects regulatory monitoring all the way through to control implementation and evidence-based reporting.

Now we're looking for a Finance & Operations Controller to be the right hand of our CFO - owning financial operations, driving our monthly close, and helping us operate financially smooth as we scale.

What you'll be doing🧭

• Own the monthly financial close and reporting cycle end-to-end - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow

• Keep daily finance operations running smoothly: accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and cash management

• Support the CFO in preparing management reports and board reporting packs

• Support the financial integration of M&A targets: aligning charts of accounts, reporting lines, and intercompany flows

• Coordinate with our external partners - accountants, payroll providers, auditors, and tax advisors

• Monitor actuals vs. budget and forecast, and flag variances before they become problems

• Identify and drive improvements to finance processes - more automation, less manual work

What we're looking for🧰

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, controlling, financial analysis, or audit/ accounting

• Someone who hits the ground running - structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating without hand-holding

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights

• A process-driven mindset: you build structure, document it, and improve it over time

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus given our team and stakeholder base

• Experience in SaaS, technology, or PE-backed high-growth companies

• Exposure to multi-entity or post-acquisition financial environments

• Familiarity with GRC, compliance, or financial services - you'll be working with customers and a product that lives in that world

We're a tight-knit crew of about 35 people, working together from our offices in The Hague and Antwerp (and from a few home offices too).
