I’m excited to share that CERRIX acquired Ruler, a leading regulatory intelligence platform used by more than 150 financial institutions and over 1,000 compliance professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium. This is an important step towards our long-term vision: building the intelligent operating system for enterprise risk, where regulatory signals, risk data and control activities come together in one platform.
CERRIX is the European leading integrated GRC platform for enterprise risk
Over the past decade, CERRIX has helped organizations structure and manage the execution side of Governance, Risk and Compliance. Our platform enables financial institutions to manage risks, controls, action plans and reporting in a structured and auditable way. But one theme keeps coming up in conversations with customers: regulatory change is often the starting point of the entire risk and compliance cycle.
Today, many organizations still manage regulatory monitoring and interpretation separately from their risk and control frameworks. Compliance teams track regulatory developments, while risk and control teams manage implementation in GRC systems. The handover between these processes is often manual, fragmented and difficult to trace.
Ruler operates in the upstream part of this process, focusing on regulatory monitoring and interpretation, powered by AI. The platform monitors regulatory publications from authorities such as DNB, AFM and European regulators, and helps compliance teams interpret and assess their impact.

By bringing Ruler and CERRIX together, we are connecting regulatory change with risk management, powered by AI.
Regulatory monitoring, interpretation, risk updates, control implementation and reporting can now be managed within one integrated workflow.
For our clients, this means moving from reactive compliance management to proactive regulatory governance. Organizations will be able to trace the full journey from regulatory change to concrete controls and actions, something supervisors increasingly expect.
